COACH Applications

As an academy we place importance on ensuring our players have a positive mindset and are always striving to improve. We are looking for a coach who can get our players to unlock their potential and constantly motivate them to be the best version of themselves, both on the pitch and off of it.

A coach must be:

1. A good role model for the players 

2. Punctual and organised - be prepared for training sessions and stay on top of the coaching plans 

3. Friendly - you must be the players "go to" if they have any questions or concerns. 

4. A good listener - as a coach you need to be able to adapt to any situation and understand your players. Being a good listener is key to being a great leader. 

5. A good teacher - as a coach your main role is to teach the children. You must be patient, understanding, and encouraging. 

6. Efficient - you need to know the best ways of getting through to the players and creating the change you want to see. 

7. Innovative - as an increasingly competitive sport, the level of quality in the football world is extremely high. As a coach we need you to be thinking on your toes and finding new ways of developing not only technical skill but football vision within the players. 

8. Reliable - as an academy we will NOT tolerate coaches that are unreliable. One of the most important qualities you can show is reliability and dedication to the academy. 

9. Focussed on the final goal - we want a coach who has vision for the team and is always working to meet goals set. 

10. Motivational - no one can motivate you like your coach. Being there for the players and constantly being their support will create a foundation that will allow the players to reach their potential.
