What is the initiative?
Lusaka Eagles Football Academy is dedicated to supporting the wider community. That's why we are devoting each month to a new cause, using weekly friendly football matches with local teams to deliver educational talks, workshops, donate products and bring teams together through new experiences.
Why do this?
This initiative truly embodies the academy's goal to extend our impact beyond just football.
What to expect
Each month will be totally unique, tailored specifically to that month's cause. One month may be centred around women's health, and another may focus on the power of determinism. We are excited to allow the initiative grow and evolve over time.

When you sponsor a month, you're not just supporting a cause—your sponsorship covers the costs of renting pitches, providing clean water for the children, and ensuring that every child gets a snack after the games.

This month's cause: Nutrition
Our second instalment of A Cause A Month is dedicated to nutrition. We have collaborated with Pick n Pay to provide 100 meals to children from Bauleni, Lusaka.
Many children in our academy do not receive proper nutrition, which is something we consistently aim to combat. Malnutrition affects Zambia on a whole, stunting growth and development in children from a young age - a critical issue that needs addressing. This year we are hoping to expand our efforts in educating and providing our children with the right nutrition.
